– Serial Connection
Please use the supplied serial cable to connect between the inverter and your PC. Install the monitoring software from the bundled CD and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your installation. For detailed software operation, refer to the software user manual on the bundled CD.
– WiFi Connection
This off grid inverter is equipped with a Wi-Fi transmitter. Wi-Fi transmitter can enable wireless communication between off-grid inverters and monitoring platform. Users can access and control the monitored inverter with downloaded APP.
An MPPT, or maximum power point tracker is an electronic DC to DC converter that optimizes the match between the solar array (PV panels), and the battery bank or utility grid.
It is possible but will not always be stable, it also depends on the loads you are running. Most inverters and mppts use the batteries as a reference for production and voltage stability.
Off-grid systems require an extra charge controller component to send the solar power to a battery bank before the inverter converts the DC to AC. Standalone solar inverters always need a battery bank to function.
