VRLA Battery 12V 200AH | Dimension: 522x240x219x223mm

SKU: FG200-12 Category:

GRANKIA FG200-12 maintenance free agm 12v 200ah deep cycle battery benefits from higher discharge rates and faster recharge times.

The electrolyte (acid) in AGM batteries is fully absorbed in a sponge-like absorbent glass-mat between plates to prevent spillage, leakage and corrosion.

If kept in a charged state when unused, the common lifespan of 12v 200ah deep cycle battery is up to six years. Lead–acid cells operating under the oxygen cycle have significant electrochemical differences from flooded cells that affect their capacity, life, float charge characteristics, and thermal properties.

12V 200AH Deep Cycle Battery Features

1.) AGM technology

AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries the electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates by capillary action.

2.) Low self-discharge

Storing batteries at lower temperatures thus reduces the rate of self-discharge and preserves the initial energy stored in the battery.

3.) VRLA technology

VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid, which means that the batteries are sealed.

4.) Puncture Resistant Case

Each of the 6 cells within this SLA battery is wrapped in a puncture resistant polyethylene envelope, so even if the outercase is pierced no leakage will occur.

5.) Maintenance-Free Design

Minimises technician time spent at site and on battery related callouts.

6.) Anti Buckle Separators

Internal plate buckling can kill a battery outright or simply reduce its lifespan. Our AGM separators gives the plates extra support to eliminate buckling.

Deep Cycle Battery FAQ

  1. What is difference between deep cycle battery and regular?

Unlike a traditional car battery, deep-cycle batteries provide a long, steady stream of power. It can provide a short burst of power, but nothing like a car battery. Deep cycle batteries are also lead-acid batteries but they are designed to be discharged and recharged regularly.

  2. How long will a deep cycle battery last?

Most deep cycle batteries can last up to six years with proper care and charging (depending on the frequency of use). It’s up to you to make sure that your battery isn’t being damaged by your charging routine.

  3. What ruins a deep cycle battery?

Deep discharges, heat, vibration, over charging, under charging and non-usage accelerate this aging process. Another major cause of premature battery failure is lead sulfation.
