GRANKIA FG180-12 vrla agm 12v 180ah solar power battery storage is designed for deep discharge applications which can be recharged hundreds of times.
The electrolyte (acid) in AGM batteries is fully absorbed in a sponge-like absorbent glass-mat between plates to prevent spillage, leakage and corrosion.
The 12v 180ah solar power battery storage is a low-cost, highly reliable and efficient, and popular storage choice for power quality, uninterrupted power supplies (UPS), pv power system, and some spinning reserve applications.
1.) AGM technology
AGM stands for Absorbent Glass Mat. In these batteries the electrolyte is absorbed into a glass-fibre mat between the plates by capillary action.
2.) Low self-discharge
Storing batteries at lower temperatures thus reduces the rate of self-discharge and preserves the initial energy stored in the battery.
3.) VRLA technology
VRLA stands for Valve Regulated Lead Acid, which means that the batteries are sealed.
4.) Puncture Resistant Case
Each of the 6 cells within this SLA battery is wrapped in a puncture resistant polyethylene envelope, so even if the outercase is pierced no leakage will occur.
5.) Maintenance-Free Design
Minimises technician time spent at site and on battery related callouts.
6.) Anti Buckle Separators
Internal plate buckling can kill a battery outright or simply reduce its lifespan. Our AGM separators gives the plates extra support to eliminate buckling.
Batteries are best stored in “a cool, dry place at normal room temperature.” That means avoiding any and all areas of the house that are even remotely damp, hot, and humid.
Recommended storage is around 40 percent state-of-charge (SoC).
DO preserve battery life by switching off a device and removing the batteries when it’s not using. DO practice proper battery storage by keeping batteries in a cool, dry place at normal room temperature.
