VRLA Battery 12V 5AH | Dimension: 90x71x101x107mm
GRANKIA FG5-12 valve regulated lead acid 12v alarm battery 5ah is made with a hardened ABS plastic to protect against spills and leaks.
The charging reaction converts the lead sulfate at the negative electrode to lead. At the positive terminal the reaction converts the lead to lead oxide. As a by-product of this reaction, hydrogen is evolved.
The acid inside is absorbed between the plates and thereby immobilized by a very fine fiberglass mat. This along with the valve regulated, spill-proof design of our batteries allows trouble-free, safe operation in any orientation.
Alarm batteries need to change every 3 to 5 years.
Alarm system control panels often take large 12V batteries.
The battery may need to be replaced. An alarm will chirp every 30 to 60 seconds for a minimum of seven days. With a “low battery” announcement, disconnect the unit and replace the batteries.
